BELGIANS AND BA QUIZZED AT THE BRIDGE

Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and Demba Ba answered supporters' questions on stage as the
'An Audience With…' series returned to Stamford Bridge on Thursday evening.
Held in the Harris Suite, in the West Stand, the event was hosted by Chelsea TV's Gigi Salmon, with questions put to the trio in front of over 150 supporters, which included 50 members of the club's Foundation Lottery scheme.
The evening got off to an amusing start when Ba, in mischievous mood throughout, emerged on stage following an introduction which was intended for De Bruyne.
After De Bruyne admitted he was probably the worst dressed player at the club, Hazard, when pressed to name his most difficult opponent, plumped for team-mate Branislav Ivanovic, saying the Serbian defender was 'very tough.'
Ba then brought the house down when he admitted to singing a nursery rhyme as his initiation song in front of over 20 players shortly after his arrival last January, before jokingly saying he supported Wimbledon as a youngster, quickly clarifying he had in fact been a Paris Saint-Germain fan during his earlier years.
As the questions turned to more on-pitch matters, the striker outlined his hopes for the season, saying: 'I would like to start by winning the Premier League with Chelsea as soon as possible.'
He was then asked to pick his favourite goal since becoming a Chelsea player.
'It was against Manchester United here at the Bridge (in the FA Cup),' he said. 'It was good but when you score a goal it doesn't matter what competition it is, it's just a great feeling. As long as the ball hits the net it's fine.'
With Belgium having reached next summer's World Cup finals in Brazil, De Bruyne, who impressed during their qualifying campaign, was asked about his hopes for the tournament.
'For us it means a lot, Belgium didn't qualify for 12 years so to reach this stage is something new for the country and we hope to do well there,' he said.
'We always have belief, it's difficult to say what we can do as you don't know which teams you will play, but if we can get to the second round then who knows?'
Hazard, so often an influential figure on the pitch from an attacking point of view, then revealed where he would like to play given the opportunity to choose another position, saying: 'I would be a left-back or right-back because there is a lot of running involved, although I prefer running with the ball at my feet.'
